This one-day course is designed for the person responsible for creating and maintaining the company's financial statements. This course emphasizes the skills necessary to utilize the Windows based FRx Financial Report Writer using Expandable's data files to develop a Balance Sheet, an Income Statement and link to a spreadsheet.
The course will consist of lecture, discussion and hands-on student workshops.

At the completion of this course the participants will be able to:

		Build the Row Structure from the Expandable Chart of Accounts for the Balance Sheet
		Build the Column Structures for the Balance Sheet
		Use the Catalog of Reports to connect the Rows and Columns to generate the Balance Sheet Report
		Build the Row Structure from the Expandable Chart of Accounts for the Income Statement
		Build the Column Structures for the Income Statement
		Use the Catalog of Reports to connect the Rows and Columns to generate the Income Statement Report
		Use the Drill Down function to get a closer look at the Expandable transactions
		Export and import demo report formats
		Create a budgeted income statement by linking to a spreadsheet

Prerequisite: The student MUST have a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows (e.g. know how to manipulate a Mouse and how to maneuver within Windows). The student must also be able to navigate within Expandable. There are NO exceptions to these prerequisites.
