Expandable Software, Inc. Announces “Expandable ERP Integration for Salesforce CRM”
ERP and CRM integration helps expanding manufacturers better manage customer interaction
Expandable Software, Inc., a leading developer of ERP software for growing manufacturing companies announced today the completion of its integration to Salesforce CRM, the world’s most popular CRM package. The pairing is the first integration of a mid-market manufacturing software suite with the Salesforce CRM product.
Expandable ERP Integration for Salesforce uses the Pervasive Data Integrator as the core ETL engine to provide visibility of customer activity, buying history, sales orders, invoices and serialized parts in both Expandable ERP and Salesforce CRM. Data is presented in Salesforce using standard Force.com platform objects, fields and tabs, providing Salesforce users seamless access to Expandable transactions.
“Our manufacturing customers are increasingly adopting Salesforce as the CRM platform of choice, so it was an easy decision for us to make the investment in integrating the two systems,” said Expandable president Bob Swedroe. “The integration with Salesforce offers a much-needed addition to the mid market enterprise software arena. Expandable customers can now gain the benefit of an integrated customer acquisition and retention process at a very attractive price point.”
“Salesforce is a well-adopted CRM platform so we expect that the potential benefit of our integration will help drive new customers to Expandable,” said Dennis Payton, Expandable’s director of product marketing. Traditionally, ERP and CRM integration has been a significant challenge, but using the Pervasive Data Integration product we’ve been able to produce a very robust, cost effective, integration. We worked closely with our key customers and salesforce.com to identify the specific best practice touch points that maximize the benefit to manufacturers using CRM to manage their customer interaction.”
“With integration to Salesforce, our customers can take advantage of the full range of the Salesforce CRM tools to bring together a complete 360 degree view of their customer’s business activity,” added Swedroe. “We believe our integration to Salesforce CRM will provide a significant competitive advantage to our growing customer base.”
Expandable Software, Inc. develops, markets and supports an enterprise resource planning (ERP) software suite designed to help executives and managers of fast-growing companies maximize business performance by maintaining visibility and control of manufacturing operations.
Expandable’s fully integrated accounting, engineering and manufacturing modules provide a solid back office foundation while CRM, e-business, and supply chain functions deliver front office tools to manage business relationships, and streamline transactions.
The Expandable system is targeted to manufacturers who need a dependable business foundation that will support their growth all the way to the billion dollar mark.
